It is a short, evidence-based pulse instrument proven to track collaboration, productivity, and belonging over time. What is the Team Mirror Survey™?

The Team Mirror Survey was born out of a simple question: how can we know if our workshops truly change the way teams work together? When clients came to us for coaching, they consistently wanted three things—stronger collaboration, greater productivity, and a deeper sense of belonging. We built the survey around those outcomes, keeping it deliberately short and easy to complete: just a quick rating and a comment on each area. Most people finish it in under ten minutes.

Over time, the survey became woven into our process. We run it before a workshop, again six weeks later, and at request, three months down the road. This gives us more than just the immediate feedback from the workshop itself—it shows whether the experience actually shifts how the team functions in daily life. Clients began to see the value of this simple tool not only as proof of impact, but as a lens into their team’s health. The insights proved so useful that we eventually began offering the Team Mirror Survey as a stand-alone service.

Once payment is complete, your team receives a personalized TMS survey link — pre-filled with your team name and project info.

Participants have the option to remain completely anonymous or to share their name. By choosing not to share their name, we are unable to trace their responses back to them, which helps to ensure the honesty and accuracy of the feedback.

The Impact of Coaching, Measured Through the Team Mirror Survey™

Across 27 teams and subteams, with 290 responses gathered over up to four survey rounds, the Team Mirror Survey™ (TMS) measured Collaboration, Productivity, and Belonging before and after teams invested in coaching. The results show clear, measurable improvement:

Over 90% of teams improved in at least one of the three areas: Collaboration, Productivity, or Belonging.

Productivity saw the strongest gains, with around 80–85% of teams reporting improvement.

Collaboration and Belonging also improved for most teams over the course of their survey rounds.
