Executive Coaching Programs for Top Leaders

The higher you climb in your career, the thinner the air gets: there are fewer peers you can share your concerns with, mistakes have more impact, and there is much more to lose than when you first started your career.

Executive coaching provides the support and development needed to navigate the unique challenges that come with leadership—in fact, over 70% of individuals that receive coaching report improved work performance, better relationships, and more effective communication skills.

Coaching is distinct from mentoring or consulting. Instead of offering traditional advice or ready-made solutions, we guide you through a process of self-discovery through active listening and powerful questions. We go deeper than just looking at behaviors. We work on the level of mindset through a continual process of inquiry.

We first help you clarify your goals and determine how to measure them. We challenge your assumptions, help you discover your patterns, challenge you, support you, and act as a mirror. We help you identify internal barriers that get in your way, and get to the root cause of why they are obstacles for you. We help you craft strategies to recover from setbacks and tap into the courage to do things differently.

In a world of AI, answers are cheap. Powerful questions are priceless.

A Metrix Global study found that executive coaching has a 788% return on investment based on factors including increases in productivity and employee retention.

Together, we explore resources and find the best path tailored to your circumstances. We provide honest, constructive feedback and, when relevant, integrate training by drawing on our extensive leadership development experience and proven models.

Leadership coaching helps you refine your most significant personal and professional goals and create actionable steps to achieve them. Each coaching relationship is built on a series of confidential, one-on-one sessions designed to support your growth.

Some of the outcomes you can expect from Executive Coaching:

Build your self-awareness and compassion for yourself.

Increase your emotional intelligence so you can leverage your emotions as a valuable resource rather than being controlled by them.

Develop the ability to respond thoughtfully to situations, rather than reacting.

Gain insight into how your worldview shapes your perception, emotional state, and ability to manage challenges.

Unlock your natural self-confidence and creativity.

Make business and life decisions with confidence and clarity, grounded in your personal values.

Learn what your strengths are and how to use them more.

  • What is the process?
Pre-coaching: Chemistry Session & Questionnaire Feedback Collection with the CWoB Leader Mirror Survey™ Goal Setting Discovery Session Regularly Scheduled Coaching Sessions (including Mid-Point Check-in on goals and optional 3-way session with your manager) Follow-up CWoB Leader Mirror Survey™ to measure progress Wrap-up Session including goal measurement and action planning Feedback about the coach As a supplement to the Feedback Collection stage, we highly recommend conducting a formal 360° feedback process using the Leadership Circle Profile (LCP). We also use the Hogan Assessment as a basis for the coaching on request.
  • Who is coaching for?
We specialize in coaching C-suite leaders of global or regional teams, particularly in key enabling functions such as IT, Finance, Communications, Marketing, HR, Legal, Compliance, Security, and Sustainability (CTO, CFO, CCO, CMO, CHRO, CLO, CCO, CSO). These roles are the ones who often find themselves in “firefighting mode”, needing to react quickly to the last-minute needs of their business partners. This makes it hard for these leaders to find the time for strategic thinking. We help you build credibility, authority, and confidence, and become a trusted advisor within your organization to secure your seat at the table where strategic decisions are made.
  • How often will we meet?
The frequency of coaching sessions is tailored to your needs and preferences, but most clients choose to meet every few weeks, either in person or virtually, for between 60-120 minutes per session. For those seeking more flexibility, our Executive and Premium Coaching packages offer unlimited sessions within a fixed period (six months or one year).
  • Where do we meet?
In-person sessions can be arranged at the coach’s office, your location, or a third-party venue, based on your preferences and the coach’s availability. Coaching Without Borders® offices are conveniently located for a “walk and talk” session along Lake Zurich. Virtual sessions can be held using your preferred web conferencing software. We also find that a “walk and talk” session via traditional phone calls can be highly productive and creatively stimulating.
  • How long are sessions?
The initial session is a 90-120 minute “discovery session,” during which the coach takes extra time to build a strong relationship with you, refine your goals, and ensure they are clearly defined and measurable. Thereafter, sessions are 60-120 minutes, depending on your needs and preferences.
  • In which languages do you offer coaching?
We offer coaching in English, German, Swiss-German, Italian, French, Spanish, Dutch, Greek, Hungarian, and Russian.

Why CWoB?

Our coaches bring decades of experience in coaching and delivering leadership programs and workshops for multicultural groups across Europe, Africa, the Americas, and Asia. With strong entrepreneurial and business backgrounds, we can “speak your language” and understand the realities of your world. Regardless of the size or industry of the company, we work with leaders who navigate the complexities of an international and multicultural context.

”Intense. Challenging. Tough at times. Enlightening. Rewarding. I was Margo’s coachee for about one year through a talent program at Airbus. What a ride that was. Margo allowed me to dive deep on my own self, and from there better understand the complexity of interpersonal and group relationships where each individual is unique. Apart from the strong self-development, I have come out of the journey with Margo with a strong toolset which is allowing me to better navigate the complexities of work life. The importance of feedback, influencing and persuading, or managing conflict, were some of the topical areas addressed. Today, I feel more confident to embrace the challenges of tomorrow and I can’t thank enough Margo for that. I can’t wait for our paths to cross again.“
